Daughter of the Storms

A portrait of Kay, painted in part from a very grainy webcam photo she once sent me, with the background evolving around the original sketch.

This remains one of my favourite pieces, mostly for the angle of the view and the way the backdrop stretches away into the distance (also I love painting mountains and scenery!).
