The Old Gent

I was determined to finish this quickly, so I ended up producing it over the course of an evening. Painted from scratch, and a vague desire to experiment with negative space – I started with the pose and the black expanse of the torso, then the head just took form as I doodled (I love drawing mutton-chops).
