The Grim and Necro Black Metal Kay

I haven’t done a pure portrait for ages, so I thought I’d do one! This is a portrait of Kay, depicting her as a Grim, Necro and Black Metal chick! I’m trying to refine my brushwork style, using thicker strokes and more opaque colours. I love the simplicity in this picture – I thought of adding a background, as per Daughter of the Storms, but decided that the simple backdrop worked better. It’s been a quiet time for art recently, but hopefully things should be getting busier again soon!
